Job Summary
You will work as a key member of the Capital Projects team, based in the Space & Place directorate. This team leads all Capital Projects, ranging from small scale projects to major phase developments.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior project manager or assistant project manager working on smaller projects who is looking to grow their career in a highly experienced and dynamic team.
You will be supported during larger projects by supervision, shadowing and regular feedback. This will give the candidate the opportunity to gain vital first-hand experience of managing larger projects.
You will be expected to manage schemes identified within the Trust's capital building programme, including appointing contractors in line with the team's procurement processes, and to undertake both major capital and minor works schemes. You will be expected to deputise for the Capital Project managers.
