Bennett and Game are representing one of the fastest growing multi-disciplinary consultancies in the UK, seeking a Project Manager to join their team in Nottingham. This consultancy provides specialist services in ecology, arboriculture, flood risk, and habitat management, working across the UK to support a diverse range of clients in infrastructure, housing, commercial development, and utilities.

As part of their continued growth, they are looking for a Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of environmental and ecological consultancy projects, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and client satisfaction.

Project Manager Salary & Benefits

1. Salary: £25,000 - £35,000
2. 28 days per year of holiday plus bank holidays
3. 2 days paid for either charity work, a training course or for extra holiday days per year
4. Additional 3 days paid holiday over the Christmas period
5. Flexible working hours
6. Hybrid work, with the option to work from home as much as you like once settled into the position
7. Mentorship (if needed) from a senior Project Manager who will be working alongside you
8. Car allowance is offered once a senior level is reached

Project Manager Job Overview

1. Working on large scale, multi-million-pound utility and infrastructure projects
2. Collaborate with clients, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are met and any issues are resolved in a timely manner
3. Monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any delays or potential risks
4. Manage project budgets and ensure all costs are accurately tracked and reported
5. Supervise and lead on-site teams, ensuring they are following project plans and safety protocols
6. Ensure all work complies with industry standards and regulations

Project Manager Job Requirements

1. Experience in project management
2. Ideally within the environmental/ecology sector; however, not a must as we are happy to consider a range of Project Managers from a construction, civil engineering background, etc.
3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
4. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, or similar)
