Job Description

Your new employer is a family business built on a foundation of long-term relationships with both their partners and their team. The business has rapidly grown into a national importation and distribution company servicing multiple markets across many different product groups.

Your new role

  1. This role is responsible for managing a portfolio of brands and their products throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritising product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and operations to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
  2. Product Life Cycle management – ongoing range maintenance and NPD as per business requirements.
  3. Responsible for reporting, range analysis and market research of product categories and competitive environment.
  4. Assist with the development of the core positioning and messaging for the product.
  5. Develop product knowledge for technical support and product training.
  6. Assist in sales forecasting and demand planning.
  7. Assist with developing promotional campaigns to meet category goals and exceed budget.
  8. Assist marketing with packaging design, POS collateral, sales tools and support information where required.
  9. Development and assistance of product presentations and customer range submissions.
  10. Assist in tradeshows and events where required.

Your skills
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  2. Strong computer skills – Microsoft suite essential. Minimum medium to advanced excel skills.
  3. Strong commercial acumen and data analysis skills.
  4. Construction/Trade qualification or technical background would be highly regarded, but not essential.
  5. Effective time management, self-motivated and a 'can do' attitude.
  6. Collaborative and excellent teamwork skills.
