Job description

One of Morgan Law's public sector clients requires a Procurement professional to join their growing team and manage a broad range of sourcing projects.


Duties include:
  1. Assist with the development of a variety of category strategies in line with the corporate objectives.
  2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the commercial viability of each specific project across a range of environments.
  3. Help identify contractual, commercial and market risks to ensure the organisation's continuity of supply.
  4. Manage a range of suppliers to ensure performance standards are consistently maintained.
  5. Take the lead on tenders, ensuring all procurement activity fully complies with appropriate legislation and corporate policies.
Person Specification
  1. MCIPS or working towards the qualification.
  2. Working knowledge of category management and a track record delivering savings/service improvements.
  3. Experience of managing key contracts and improving supplier performance.
  4. Extensive knowledge of public sector procurement legislation.
