This role is based in the client's office in Liverpool a minimum of 3 days per week.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Assisting with developing detailed plans taking full cognisance of logistics/site/project constraints
  • Interfacing with project team, contributing to the production of the weekly progress report to the project team and understanding functional obligations under the form of contract.
  • Reviewing and capturing productivity to measure progress.
  • Developing effective working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Incorporating sustainable design and procurement process within integrated programmes.
  • Challenging and ensuring health and safety through programme integration.
  • Assisting, establishing and overseeing project work plans and deadlines.
  • Undertaking tasks required to fulfil the requirements of the project/assignment.
  • Working collaboratively towards the common goal of net zero carbon transition and sharing responsibility for the proactive identification and management of the associated carbon emissions and reductions during the delivery of work.

You'll need to have:

  • Basic competency to produce basic programmes and sequence plans with minimal supervision.
  • Basic software user.
  • Basic understanding in built environment and with projects.
  • Basic understanding of different procurement routes and types and forms of contract.
  • Able to respond to all client/stakeholder requests effectively and sensitively.
  • Communicate & present to project team on programme drivers, goals & issues, etc.
  • Working towards professional qualification (e.g. CIOB, APM, PMI).
  • Other relevant qualifications specific to local requirements.

You'll also have:

  • Understanding of contract administration.
  • Exposure to the principles or use of different types of contracts.
  • Effective decision-making skills.
  • Ability to challenge constructively.
  • Working towards construction skills qualifications.
  • General understanding of APM principles.
