Assistant Merchandiser

As an Assistant Merchandiser, you will work closely with a Merchandiser, playing a key role in providing effective and efficient support to the department. To succeed, it is essential that you have excellent administration skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Forecasting sales and planning product intake.
2. Ensuring excellent availability of all core SKUs.
3. Preparing and maintaining weekly and ad-hoc reports.
4. Generating and raising purchase orders.
5. Collaborating cross-functionally with the buying team.

Skills and Experience Required:

1. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
2. Exceptional data interpretation and analytical skills.
3. A solid understanding of merchandising with strong commercial awareness.
4. Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work efficiently at speed.
5. Proven ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
7. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
