Contract Type: One Fixed term- One year Contract
Working Hours: 37 hours per week
Worker Type: Hybrid Worker
Salary: Starting Salary is £39,513 (level 1) to £42,708 (level 4) per annum (pro-rata for part-time). In addition, you will receive stand by payments (on call) £31.58

Nottingham City Council provides Residential Care for Children and young people aged 9 to 18 years old. We have seven Children's Homes and a supported accommodation provision for those preparing for independence. As an Assistant Manager within our Supported Accommodation provision, you will work as part of a team with the support of the Provision Manager. You will play a vital role in supporting young people in Nottingham to prepare to live independently successfully when they are adults.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for you to be part of the biggest national change we have seen in supported accommodation for young people in care, for many years.
You will take the lead with the management team in the process of our provision being regulated by Ofsted and ensuring the Quality Standards are met.
You will be expected to support the team via supervision, guidance, appraisals, and audits to support young people to be prepared in all areas of their lives to ensure positive outcomes.
You will develop positive relationships and work with our young people, their families, and the multi-disciplinary team around them.
You will work with the management team to ensure you praise and acknowledge good performance of the team and use the NCC procedures to challenge poor performance.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- A DBS enhanced check for a regulated activity is required for this post.
- The role requires you to participate in the on-call rota.
