Working Hours:
This position requires working every other weekend, ensuring our cafes run smoothly during peak visitor times.

Join our dedicated team at the RAF Museum Cosford, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional hospitality and catering services. Our vibrant cafes serve a variety of delicious food and beverages, ensuring that every visitor has a memorable experience.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and passionate Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our catering services at the museum. You will play a key role in managing our two cafes, leading a team of staff, and maintaining the highest standards of service and food quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations of the cafes.
  2. Train, supervise, and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer service.
  3. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food hygiene standards.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management.
  5. Engage with customers to enhance their experience and gather feedback.
  6. Help develop and implement seasonal menus and promotions.
  7. Assist in financial management, including budgeting and reporting.

Qualifications:
  1. Previous experience in a hospitality or catering environment.
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Passion for customer service and a commitment to quality.
