Our client is a high-profile volume retail store, renowned for value-for-money and excellent customer service. Our client is very much on an upward trajectory, having undergone an impressive new store opening programme over the last few years.


As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for:
  1. Managing the day-to-day running of the store as a Duty Manager
  2. Assisting the Store Manager in achieving company KPIs
  3. Ensuring your team delivers exceptional customer service
  4. Delivering exemplary standards in store presentation, stock control, shrinkage and administration compliance
  5. Complying with all Health & Safety policies and legislation
  6. Using management information to make strategic business decisions

The ideal Assistant Manager candidate:
  1. Has a proven track record in a fast-paced retail environment
  2. Enjoys being on the shop floor - no sitting in the office!
  3. Can demonstrate a high level of operational, leadership, planning, organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
  4. Is target-driven and customer service oriented
  5. Is highly motivated and ambitious
