Job Title: Grower Assistant Manager

Location: New Forest Fruit Company

Type: Full-Time

We are looking for a Grower Assistant Manager to join our dedicated team at New Forest Fruit Company. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about horticulture, with a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in soft fruit production.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct regular crop walks to monitor plant health

Identify and record any pest and disease issues

Assess crop settings and environmental conditions to ensure optimal growth

Assist in the creation and implementation of spray plans

Monitor, order, and track biological controls

Work closely with the growing team to maintain high standards across all growing areas

Requirements:

Strong communication skills

High level of self-motivation

Relevant growing experience, preferably in soft fruit production

Flexibility with working hours (including weekends when necessary)

Valid UK driving licence

Good level of English language

Proficient in using computers and digital tools

Able to work both independently and as part of a team
