Assistant Management Accountant - £50,000 - 8 months FTC - West London

A highly successful, global brand within the leisure space is looking for a dynamic Finance Officer / Management Accountant to join them on an 8-month FTC beginning in January. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a household name brand in a broad and varied role. This role would suit an experienced Finance Officer or Assistant Management Accountant eager to work for an international business.

Please note - offices are based in West London - South Kensington.

As their Finance Officer, you will support the Financial Controllers across all functions of accounts: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger. This is an international brand, and your remit will cover the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities of this Assistant Management Accountant role will include:

1. Reviewing supplier reconciliation and purchase invoices; following up on any disputes and ensuring these are reflected accurately.
2. Overseeing bank payments - ensuring they are appropriately authorized and reconciled in cash management.
3. Updating the supplier database and creating new supplier profiles.
4. Monthly accounting of revenue, cost of sales, and income into the accounting system.
5. Generating aged debtor reports for credit control.
6. Reviewing bank reconciliations, accrual journals, and fixed asset register.
7. Supporting across month and year-end closing processes.

The ideal candidate will have previously worked in a Management Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, or Finance Officer position and will be ACCA or CIMA qualified. You will be analytical with strong attention to detail and will enjoy building relationships with colleagues at all levels.

The salary on offer for this Finance Officer role is up to £50,000 pro rata plus great benefits.
