Assistant Management Accountant

A highly motivated Assistant Management Accountant is required to join an exciting manufacturing business based in Deeside. This role involves ensuring accurate financial reporting whilst assisting in the development of the finance function within the company.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant include:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts
• Assisting with budget preparation and control
• Accurate financial reporting in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Liaising with other departments to ensure financial targets are met
• Proactively identifying areas for improvement in financial processes
• Maintaining and developing financial systems and databases
• Providing financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers
• Ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations

Profile

A successful Assistant Management Accountant should have:

• Experience in a similar role
• Working towards professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
• Experience in an FMCG environment - Advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
