We are actively seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a well established and growing company in Media City, Salford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.

The main duties include:

  1. Preparing actual results vs. budgets/forecasts, variance analysis and narrative on the monthly results for various cost centres
  2. Preparing month end accrual and prepayment calculations and other nominal ledger journals
  3. Monthly review with operational managers to ensure that costs are being properly recorded and managed and variances investigated and explained
  4. Preparing additional supporting analysis and KPI's to feed into the monthly management reporting packs
  5. Balance sheet reconciliations, monitoring and reporting

Our client is looking for a candidate who:

  1. Has management accounts experience
  2. Is currently studying CIMA or ACCA
  3. Has good Excel skills
  4. Has the desire to progress within finance
