Are you an experienced finance professional looking for an exciting opportunity to be a key part of a small, supportive Finance Team? We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Management Accountant on a maternity cover basis, helping to maintain financial control and reporting.

What You’ll Be Doing

As an Assistant Management Accountant, you’ll work closely with the Accounts Assistant and Accountant to ensure smooth financial operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining the Fixed Asset Register
• Posting monthly journals
• Handling Accounts Payable & Receivable Reconciliations
• Overseeing credit control activities
• Preparing financial reports such as management accounts, margin analysis, and stock reconciliations
• Supporting the Accountant in month-end financial reporting and analysis
• Contributing to process improvements and providing ad-hoc financial support as needed

What We’re Looking For

• AAT Qualification (or working towards completion)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant finance experience

• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail & ability to work under pressure
• Strong communication skills (both written & verbal)
• Team player with a proactive mindset
• Competency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
