Page Personnel are recruiting for an Assistant Management Accountant on behalf of a fast growing organisation going through an excited period of growth, headquartered in Manchester City Centre.

Page Personnel are working with a well known, industry leading business. Due to continued growth they are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join the team at an exciting time.

Description

The key responsibilities of an Assistant Management Accountant will include:

• Help produce management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, including variance analysis and commentaries
• Balance sheet and bank reconciliations
• Posting of journals, accruals and prepayments
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Support the completion of finance related projects and process improvements
• Produce reports and data analysis
• Contribute to the preparation of annual budgeting
• Work closely with the Management Accountants

Profile

The Assistant Management Accountant will:

• Previous experience in an accounts based role with exposure to month end processes
• Be an active studier towards a professional qualification e.g ACCA, CIMA ACA
• Be able to work to tight deadlines
• Have strong attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office, particularly MS Excel and other accounting software
