About Our Client

Our Ipswich based retail client is a growing business looking for a temporary assistant management accountant to join their team with the potential to turn into a permanent contract.

Job Description

1. Financial analysis and reporting
2. Support the Management Accountant and wider team with budgeting and forecasting
3. Monitor and process expenses
4. Management accounting
5. Preparation of monthly financial statements
6. Everyday transactional accounting such as accounts payable, payment runs, etc.
7. Review and provide recommendations for improving financial performance

The Successful Applicant

1. Experience of working in a similar Assistant Accountant, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Assistant, or Accounts Assistant type role
2. Ideally part qualified
3. Good IT skills and accounting packages such as Sage, PeopleSoft, QuickBooks, or Xero
4. Strong analytical skills
