An exciting Management Accountant role based in Cullompton working for a logistics business.

Your new company

Working for a leading logistics and transport services organisation based in Cullompton. Within a sizeable finance team, you will play a key role in producing accurate monthly management accounts and monitoring financial budgets across multiple business areas.

Your new role

You will contribute to the team by preparing a weekly forecast for cost centres across multiple business areas. Responsibilities include:

  1. Ensure timely financial projections to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
  2. Prepare and post journals for accruals, prepayments, and ad-hoc expenses.
  3. Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
  4. Work closely with staff across the whole business.
  5. Create dynamic management reports that highlight revenues, costs, profitability, and operational KPIs.
  6. Provide insights that drive strategic decisions.
  7. Generate sales invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billings.
What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will be AAT qualified (minimum level 3) or studying towards CIMA, with previous management accounting experience in costing, budgeting, and variance analysis.
