Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar Accountancy role is required.
  • Studying towards an accountancy qualification is desirable.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly & quarterly financial reports.
  • Assist with month-end processes and maintain ledger accounts.

Exciting Assistant Management Accountant role with a growing business based in Blackrod. This role will offer a salary up to £35,000 depending on experience.

Client Details

Michael Page are working with a well established, family-run business going through a period of continued growth and evolution. They are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant to join their experienced team.

Description

Duties include:

  • Daily inputting of purchase invoices onto accounting system
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supplier/ customer statement reconciliation
  • Raise sales invoices
  • Sales Reconciliations
  • Maintain accrual & prepayment schedules
  • Assist with month end processes
  • Posting month end journals
  • Maintain fixed asset register & Post depreciation.
  • Prepare Weekly, Monthly & quarterly financial reports
  • Maintain and manage ledger accounts
  • Expense tracking
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as required by Management

Profile

The candidate will have/be:

  • Experience within a similar Accountancy role - Required
  • Studying towards accountancy qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) - Desirable
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Excel - Required
  • Ability to work to your own initiative - Required
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal - Required
  • High attention to detail and levels of accuracy - Required
