Job Description

We have a fantastic new opportunity for an ASSISTANT MAINTENANCE MANAGER to be part of our hotel maintenance team and to be responsible for the brand new mechanical and electrical installation at the hotel.

Crowne Plaza Marlow, with a magnificent lakeside location, has 168 spacious bedrooms, a Conference Centre with 9 meeting rooms, extensive Quad Wellness & Spa facilities and the Glaze One AA Rosette restaurant and Aqua Bar & Lounge all with stunning lake views.

The hotel has recently been fully refurbished to make it the finest Crowne Plaza Resort Hotel in the UK.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be primarily responsible for the following:

1. Compliance to Intercontinental Hotels Group brand standards, Fire Life Safety Standards, Energy Efficiency and other standards.
2. Supervision of sub-contractors on site.
3. Undertaking and managing preventative maintenance schedules.
4. Responsible for the new mechanical and electrical equipment installed in the hotel, in particular the brand new Daikin air conditioning system throughout.
5. Previous pool plant experience will be considered an advantage.

You should also have good communication skills both written and verbal.

Good mechanical, electrical and plumbing skills are essential.

Successful candidates should ideally have a solid hotel engineering/maintenance background, preferably in a branded hotel environment.

Ideal candidates should have a stable background and positive references.

Hours of work: 9-6 Monday to Friday.

There is an option of single live-in accommodation for the right candidate (salary will be adjusted).
