We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Landscape Architect based in Pitstone for one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is an expert horticulturalist and leading landscape designer offering bespoke services to reputable businesses and clients nationally.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Landscape Architect
Work on commercial and residential projects from concept design through to construction.
Prepare the design and drafting of landscape projects both by hand and digitally.
Render and amend drawings.
Produce construction detail drawings and assist with tender packages.
Conduct site visits.
Generate specifications, presentations and other documents.
Requirements for a successful Assistant Landscape Architect
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or relevant design subject.
Member of the Landscape Institute or working towards Chartership.
Experience working on a variety of residential and commercial projects including public landscapes.
Possess a structured, proactive and creative approach to design and project development.
Experience working in a complex and fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with Senior Designers and the team.
Strong IT Skills with proficiency in AutoCAD, Lumion, Sketch Up and Photoshop.
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 Location: Pitstone Type of Contract: Permanent Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:30pm
