We are looking to appoint an individual on a full time, permanent basis to join us as an Assistant Investment Manager in London.
You'll be responsible for assisting in the management of private client relationships and their investment portfolios or the firm’s in-house collective investments.
Please note, this role is mainly based from our offices in London 4/5 days per week.

What you’ll do as an Assistant Investment Manager:
- Support the Investment Team in the development and management of client relationships, working as an integral member of a team.
- Provide support over a very wide range of tasks. Responsibilities will vary considerably. The role holder will need to build strong relationships with the Kingswood Investment Operations team.
- Be responsible for the day-to-day client queries and administrative matters such as setting up new accounts, sending out client documentation.
- Organise production, checking and dispatch of valuations and client packs.
- Assist with client suitability reviews.
- Update databases with revised client details.
- Deal with compliance related matters such as collation of anti-money laundering documentation, checking client documentation.
- Liaise with operational departments to ensure that data errors, transactional delays and any other operational problems are dealt with.
- Act as liaison point for IT, Compliance and other support departments, ensuring that problems experienced by team members are addressed and sorted and suggesting improvements.
- Additionally, the holder may assist on some of the more straightforward professional fund management tasks, e.g.: Placing deals resulting from the portfolio review, obtaining agreement from non-discretionary clients, or arranging bulk trades for discretionary clients.
- Dealing with clients’ queries, e.g. on performance, elections for votes and corporate actions, cash/account statements.
What we’re looking for:
- The holder will need to be highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Morningstar and FE Analytics would be an advantage.
- An individual who is actively working towards a CISI - Level 4 qualification.
- Be keen to learn new systems.
- Have a clear interest in investment markets.
- Have an ability to relate to a broad range of individuals.
- Have a can-do attitude.
