Job description

We're looking for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join our Transportation team based in Twyford Buckinghamshire. In this role you will provide expert knowledge and skills in people management and development to influence and support the achievement of business strategy, goals and plans on the A43, MUD and Calvert major projects, and Kier Highway Solutions.

Location: Twyford, Buckinghamshire - hybrid working available, with travel to the office and sites at least 3 days a week.

Contract: Permanent full time with some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

Salary: £35,000 - £37,000 per annum + £5k annual car allowance + benefits.

What will you be responsible for?

As an Assistant HR Business Partner, you will implement and provide advice on policies, procedures and practices to ensure employees are properly recruited, supported and developed.

Your Day To Day Will Include:

  • Partner with line managers to resolve day to day issues.
  • Assist in supporting formal grievances and disciplinary situations.
  • Provide specialist advice, consulting and partnering for organisational development and business restructuring programmes.
  • Support HR Business Partner with key business projects, restructure, TUPE transfers and change management.
  • Work proactively with HR Shared Service to provide seamless transactional support to the business.

What are we looking for?

This role of Assistant HR Business Partner is great if you have:

  • CIPD qualified or working towards accreditation or the equivalent in HR experience.
  • Knowledge and experience of delivering TUPE.
  • Full UK driving licence.
