Role Overview: The Assistant Head of Department will support curriculum management in Multi-Skills, Property Maintenance Operations, and Bricklaying. You will ensure students receive a top-tier learning experience and contribute to driving their success.

You will oversee curriculum enhancement for Study Programmes, Apprenticeships, and Adult courses across multiple campuses. A fully qualified teacher with significant construction experience is required.

• You may expect to work rare weekends for college open days.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in curriculum development and resource management.
• Maintain high teaching, learning, and assessment standards.
• Inspire staff and students to achieve their best.
• Travel between campuses as required.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Extensive teaching experience in Construction.
• Strong knowledge of the FE sector and relevant industry skills.
• Current Health & Safety knowledge.
• Excellent communication, administrative, and organisational skills.
• Relevant trade qualifications and a teaching certificate (e.g., DET, PGCE).
