Assistant Grain Store Manager job - Warwickshire

Job Summary
We are a farmer owned grain storage co-operative. We are seeking an Assistant Grain Store Manager to join our team in overseeing the site's daily operations. The ideal candidate will assist the Farm Managers in every aspect of the management of the Grain Store from unloading and loading lorries, drying grain, colour sorting grain, store maintenance, and liaising with internal and external contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Farm Managers in day-to-day operations.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and inventory management and assist the office to keep compliant with TASCC regulations.

Qualifications

  • Engineering experience or mechanical skills desirable, or at least a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Be able to keep a calm and professional manner and work alongside an existing team.
  • Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on own initiative.
