Job description

They are seeking an experienced Assistant General Counsel to join their expanding legal function. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the medical tech industry, ensuring that the company meets the highest legal and compliance standards in the UK and global markets.

What you'll do:

  • Partner with the business to review, negotiate, and close commercial agreements
  • Provide legal advice and internal guidance on complex international employee relation matters and employment litigation issues
  • Advise key stakeholders on a broad range of areas such as master supply agreements, disputes, data protection issues, employment and HR issues
  • Educate internal colleagues on the latest legal developments which may impact our business
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Recommend ways to improve and scale processes to keep up with rapid business growth

What You Bring:

  • MedTech experience (preference) or strong experience in a closely related industry
  • M&A and/or IPO experience
  • Experience supporting a business through a growth phase, from start-up to SME
  • Exposure to corporate secretarial work
  • Experience in a Private Equity-backed business operating on a global level, particularly one with a presence in the US market
