Job description
Are you an experienced finance professional with strong reporting and compliance skills? Our client manufactures precision engineering parts for the aerospace sector and is looking for an Assistant Financial Controller to join their finance function. The ideal candidate will have previously worked within the manufacturing industry and be AAT Level 4 qualified and/or working towards CIMA, ACCA, ACMA.

Salary dependent on experience
Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm or 8am-5pm, Friday 7am-12pm
Derby
Deliver accurate financial reporting and manage the process in relation to cashflow and governance, including payroll reports, cash books, VAT, balance sheet reconciliation, debtor's reports, creditors, and various reporting from GOV/HMRC.
Manage company bank accounts and internal controls related to payments.
Coordinate payroll and associated HMRC/pension requirements.
Support the transactional finance team which includes payroll, sales and purchase ledger.
Creation and maintenance of accurate costing records for monitoring product and customer profitability.
- AAT Level 4 Qualified and/or working towards CIMA, ACCA, ACMA, ACA etc.
- Experience working for a manufacturing business.
- Well-versed carrying out a similar finance related position.
- Study support towards CIMA/ACCA etc is available after probation.
- 23 days holiday plus the 8 bank holidays, which increases with length of service.
