SF Recruitment are working with a brilliant business based in Loughborough who are looking for an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. This role is structured so that the successful candidate will work directly with the Financial Director and will play a key part in the day-to-day running of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in entering financial data into accounting systems
2. Preparing financial reports and briefings for senior management
3. Preparing meeting packs
4. Gathering and input of data
5. Support with month end closure
6. Ensure financial compliance with company policies, accounting best practices and audit recommendations
7. Assist in company secretarial duties, ensuring accurate statutory records
8. Ensure all records are accurate and kept up to date

Requirements:

1. Excellent analytical, communication & organisational skills
2. Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative
3. Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines

Please note this is a full time, office-based role based in Loughborough with standard office hours.
