We're really excited at Lincolnshire Housing Partnership, as we've created an exciting new role within our Finance team, we're looking to appoint an Assistant Finance Business Partner (Asset).
We're offering an excellent salary of £38,948, plus some great benefits.
As an Assistant Finance Business Partner (Asset), you'll report into the Finance Business Partner for our property and customers teams, providing all aspects of financial support to cost centre managers up to Executive level.
The role will support all aspects of Asset Management, including Planned Maintenance, Capital Component Replacement, Development, and Property disposals.

What qualifications, skills and experience will I need as an Assistant Finance Business Partner (Asset Accountant)?Essential- Accounting Degree or AAT qualified.
- 2 years' experience in a Finance role
- Great analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge in preparation, control and management of budgets.
- Excellent time management skills and appreciation of the importance of deadlines.
- Computer literate with demonstrable knowledge of spreadsheets.
- Understanding of the principles of continuous improvement.
Desirable- A background in Business Partnering and/or the preparation of Management Accounts
- Studying towards ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification
- Ability to manage, influence and negotiate effectively.
- Experience with Open Accounts system.
- Understanding of relevant legislation and/or regulations to ensure accounting and reporting are compliant.
- Experience of working in the Social Housing sector.
What will I be asked to do as an Assistant Finance Business Partner (Asset Accountant)?- Business Partnering - Supporting management teams and cost centre managers with day-to-day finance support, analysis and reporting.
- Capital Transactions - Provide effective cover for the Capital Accountant in all aspects of Fixed Asset Accounting, including processing Fixed Assets, monthly Depreciation, Grant Accounting and Reconciliations.
- Finance reporting - Provide timely and accurate finance information to internal and external stakeholders and ensure the consistency, reliability and efficiency of information gathering, validation and aggregation.
- Forecasting and Budgeting - Support budget holders and the Finance Business Partner in the preparation of forecasts and budgets, collating, analysing and challenging forecast information appropriately.
- Month end processing - Assist with the monthly preparation of management accounts.
- Internal Controls - Ensure a robust control framework is implemented, updated and adhered to.
- Financial Analysis - Provide appropriate financial analysis to support the organisation with all aspects of decision making and performance reporting.
- Finance Systems - Ensure that internal processes are efficient and effective, utilising the Open Accounts system to automate business processes as applicable.
- Continuous Improvement - Consistently and continually strive to reduce cycle times, improve the quality of outputs and provide value for money.
