York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a motivated individual to join our Costing team as a Band 5 Assistant Finance Analyst.
Do you have strong analytical, finance and problem solving skills?
Are you interested in both NHS Finance information and NHS activity data?
Do you possess a high level of numeracy, excellent technical skills and also an aptitude for data production, manipulation and reporting?

We use vast, diverse data sets from the whole Trust to produce Patient Level Costing Information for internal and external use. We have bespoke, innovative, continuously evolving reporting dashboards, and are always looking for new opportunities to utilise our data to help increase Trust income, productivity and help maximise Value for Money.
This is a key role within the Service Line Reporting (SLR) & Costing team, working as part of a team to provide robust quality costing information.
