Assistant Driller

The Assistant Driller will be responsible for:

• You will be responsible for learning how to operate a Drill Rig to drill holes to specific measurements and work scopes.
• You will be required to review your work progressively until the task at hand has been completed and progress accordingly when necessary.
• You will be expected to deal with any physical day-to-day requirements, this includes changing machine drill bits, moving machines, lifting equipment, handling liquids, and changing hammers.
• In charge of health and safety of machinery doing pre-start checks and ensuring this is continued throughout the shift.
• Capture all drilling information on a drilling log.
• To report all near misses and accidents in line with the company procedures.

The Assistant Driller will need to have:

• Experience as an Assistant Driller.
• Experience working outside in a manual handling, active job.
• Driving license.
