  2. Deputising responsibility for teaching resources and high-quality delivery of lessons.
  3. Ensuring academic lessons and activities are integrated to promote the best learning experience for our students, including organising rotas for teachers involved in the activities programme.
  4. Supporting with weekly staff meetings and conducting weekly CPD sessions.
  5. Guiding NQTs and experienced teachers, observing, appraising, and giving feedback on teaching performance in a supportive, effective manner.
  6. Participating in pastoral duties with our students, including night-duties on a rota basis.
  7. Working 48 hours over 6 days per week as part of the management team; this is a fully immersive position.

  2. Experience of working in a fast-paced, fun, and multicultural educational environment.
  3. Opportunity to gain experience toward a career of working with young people or teaching.
  4. Working with a highly experienced and supportive team.
  5. Opportunity to gain or further your management experience.
  6. Accommodation can be provided for a nominal deduction of £74.62 per week.

Some of what you’ll need to join us over the summer as Director of Studies:

  1. Educated to degree level (preferred).
  2. RSA DELTA or Trinity College London Licentiate Diploma in TESOL or PGCE TEFL/TESOL or Post graduate taught course (MA equivalent) in TEFL/TESOL, including at least 6 hours of supervised teaching practice.
  3. Level of spoken and written English equivalent to CEF level C2/CPE/IELTS 8.0.
  4. Over 3 years of full-time EFL experience.
  5. Proven competence in academic leadership.
  6. Experience of working with children.
