Position Summary:
Under general direction from the Director of Student Involvement, the Assistant Director for ASUOP: Student Engagement is responsible for the supervision, management, and advising of the Associated Students of the University of the Pacific (ASUOP) and will lead the planning and delivery of student programming within ASUOP’s Arts and Entertainment Programming Board (AEPB). The Assistant Director supports ASUOP through supervision and advising of student organization leaders, providing comprehensive direction and guidance in planning projects and events; serving as a resource to students; assessing and maintaining risk management practices; monitoring, advising, and reporting on the ASUOP budget; developing and leading trainings for students. As a member of the Student Involvement team, they are also responsible for leading and directing school spirit and school pride initiatives in collaboration with campus partners.

Physical Requirements:
Requires extended periods of sitting and repetitive hand/wrist motion while using computer keyboard and phone. Occasional standing, walking across campus, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, and reaching. Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
Valid driver’s license required. Incumbent must also be able to meet the University’s fleet rules and be eligible to drive for University business.
Hiring Range: $68,640.00 per year.
