Job Title: Assistant Depot Manager

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, Day Shift

Salary: 35,000 - 40,000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Enquiries: Handle hire enquiries via telephone, email, and online ordering system.
2. Machine Availability: Monitor and update machine availability statuses in the system.
3. Coordination: Work closely with engineering and transport teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of equipment.
4. Communication: Serve as a friendly and helpful point of contact for depot enquiries, ensuring effective communication with colleagues and customers.
5. Management: Work closely alongside the depot manager, being the main point of contact.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Industry Experience: Prior experience as a Senior Hire Desk Controller or Depot Manager in Plant, Powered Access, Tool, Lifting Equipment or Material Handling industries.
2. Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
3. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Customer Service: Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
