Job Description
- Assist in driving business initiatives related to ZDHC compliance.
- Support the delivery of chemical compliance and animal welfare training programs for ASOS employees, Suppliers and Brands, emphasizing the importance of chemical management and supply chain traceability.
- Assist in overseeing the chemical surveillance program, ensuring suppliers and 3rd Party Brands are appropriately monitored and benchmarked by risk.
- Communicate summaries of compliance to key stakeholders and provide guidance for corrective actions.
- Lead and maintain Due Diligence risk assessments.
- As part of the wider technical team, support the team in product-related tasks on fabric and sustainability as required.
- Collaborate with retail teams to develop and implement short-term corrective action plans in response to supplier failures.
- Contribute to the development and updating of ASOS Global Manuals in collaboration with product technical teams, ensuring that all documents reflect current regulatory requirements and business needs.
- Ensure that ASOS product labeling meets compliance standards for all markets.
- Help anticipate and communicate regulatory changes related to chemical management and labeling, ensuring timely implementation across the business and supply chain.
- Support the sustainability team with sustainable materials certificate checking.
- Assist the team with supplier engagement to ensure compliance with sustainable materials certification requirements.
- Support the sustainability team to monitor buying teams' uptake of sustainable materials.
- Assist in fabric-related projects as required.
