We are recruiting 3 Assistant Compliance Officers at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

Working hours: 37 Hours (Monday - Friday)
Contract Type: Permanent/Full Time
Location: Ty Penallta

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Land and Property Services Team.

We pay an attractive salary of £30,559 - £33,366 and offer access to training and development opportunities.

The Assistant Compliance Officer supports the Principal Compliance Officer in ensuring Caerphilly Homes' is compliant with relevant legislation.

The postholder will be responsible for organising planned and reactive works, auditing compliance procedures, monitoring maintenance, and managing risks.

The role involves collaborating with colleagues, contractors, and residents to maintain safety and compliance, conducting property checks, and providing regular reports.

The position requires knowledge of health and safety regulations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

For the role, we ask that you have:

  1. A relevant Level 3 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example Building Surveying, Facilities Management, Property Maintenance.
  2. Knowledge of Statutory Maintenance requirements within the Housing Sector.
  3. Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team and demonstrate a professional and flexible approach to work.
  4. A Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business/work purposes to travel throughout the borough to attend site inspections, visit clients and attend meetings.
