As an Assistant Category Merchandiser within the Commercial function, you’ll be working in one of our most interesting and at times complex categories with some of the top technology brands such as Bosch, Samsung and Beko to name a few. This role will be responsible for stock and range management across integrated appliances, requiring an individual who can work with a level of autonomy and with good business acumen.

Role overview:

As part of this role, you'll be responsible for:

• Building close relationships with suppliers, stakeholders and our supply chain to ensure continuity of supply
• Stepping up and taking responsibility for achieving all key performance indicators (sales, stock, margin and markdown)
• Reviewing sales forecasts based on historical data, seasonal trends and market trends
• Monitoring weekly performance and making recommendations to ensure that we implement in-season plans and deliver target availability across the store estate

You will need:

• Previous experience in Merchandising, ideally in consumer goods, technology, non-fashion or a fashion-related sector
• A relevant degree (or equivalent), e.g., Marketing, Merchandising, Retail or Business
• Knowledge of merchandise planning systems such as SAP, Compass Planning or similar
• Experience of business objects
• Strong numerical, analytical skills, and communication skills
