Assistant Buyer – Barnsley - £30,000 - £32,000
Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a major wholesaler based in Barnsley who are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join their team.

The business which has seen rapid growth in the market offers genuine development routes and internal training.

Assistant Buyer Duties:

  • Negotiate prices with suppliers to get the best deals without compromising quality
  • Keep up to date with market trends and competitor pricing to spot new product and sourcing opportunities
  • Work with merchandising and supply chain teams to ensure stock arrives on time and meets demand
  • Track sales and product performance to guide future buying decisions
  • Build and maintain good supplier relationships that meet company standards for quality, pricing, and delivery
  • Help prepare purchase orders, keep records accurate and follow procurement rules

Hours: Full time Monday – Friday
