Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (or equivalent day rate)

We are working with a dynamic and rapidly growing business that is redefining the market with its focus on natural ingredients and powerful flavours. As a leader in the FMCG sector, our client is committed to positively impacting the health and well-being of its consumers. With exciting expansion plans in place, they are looking to bring on an Assistant Brand Manager to support their marketing efforts for 3 months to provide additional resourcing.

Role Overview

The Assistant Brand Manager will play a key role in supporting the marketing function, focusing on brand activation, social media engagement, and community growth. The role requires a proactive, brand-building enthusiast who will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth execution of product sampling, content creation, and consumer engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Brand Manager will:

  • Assist with the organisation and execution of brand activations, including sampling events and product drops.
  • Manage seasonal branded merchandise and product sample distribution across various stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with ambassadors, retailers, and PR contacts.
  • Engage with consumers via Instagram DMs and comments, ensuring a responsive and positive brand presence.
  • Support content creation, including social listening, concept development, and assisting with content shoots.

Essential Skills

The Assistant Brand Manager will bring:

  • 1-2 years of general marketing experience (experience in FMCG is advantageous).
  • A valid UK driving licence (must be 25 or over to drive company vehicles).
  • Proven ability to manage relationships with brand ambassadors and external stakeholders.
  • Strong social media skills, with the ability to engage and grow an online community.
  • Experience in coordinating and executing marketing activations and campaigns.
  • A creative mindset, comfortable assisting with content development and brand messaging.
