BCA Fleet Solutions Ltd are looking for an organised and driven Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will work closely with the rest of finance teams accountants and operations personnel and handle day-to-day accountancy responsibilities. We're an energetic company and are looking for a passionate individual to join our team and assist in the implementation of efficiencies, uniformed processes and assist in the day-to-day financials.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Assist in monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of some balance sheet nominals in preparation for both internal and external audit including providing all supporting evidence and addressing reconciling items each month.
- Preparing and posting journals utilising support reports where appropriate.
- Quarterly VAT preparation for review and submission. Instruct VAT payments as appropriate.
- Work with the current team to improve systems and procedures, and initiate corrective actions where applicable.
- Work closely with the finance team to ensure uniformed, accurate and efficient accounting procedures.
- Other Year end audit support.
- Adhoc duties to assist the team.
The above is by no means exhaustive and finer details will depend on the successful candidate's previous experience and skill set, along with demonstrating required knowledge.To be successful, you'll bring some of the following experience with you:
- Would suit AAT studier
- Highly organised, ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload and work as part of a team.
- Have a high level of attention to detail
- Data Manipulation through MS excel to includes, Vlookups, sumifs.
- Be able to present findings from any analytical work in a clear and precise format.
- Advanced computer skills in MS Office, databases and Access Dimensions (advantageous)
