You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate bookkeeping and financial reporting, utilizing tools like NetSuite and Xero. Join a dynamic team where your contributions will directly impact the success of innovative projects in the hydrogen and solar sectors.
Prophis Technologies Limited is a consulting firm dedicated to supporting clean energy companies, particularly in the hydrogen and solar sectors, through a spectrum of technology-driven management, analytical, and operational services. We are based in Soho Works at the iconic BBC Television Centre in White City, London.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Accountant / Bookkeeper to play a valuable role for the companies we support as well as for Prophis. This position will involve understanding the details of financial transactions and ensuring accurate bookkeeping, using NetSuite and Xero.
This will be a hybrid job but will more often be remote than in-person at Soho Works. It's anticipated that in-person work will be greater at the start of the role and over time will become required much less.
Hours will vary but are expected to range from 10-20 hours per week. Timing of work will also be flexible. As you begin to work more with our clients in the US, afternoons (and evenings if you prefer) will be most helpful.
Beyond the core accounting responsibilities, there are other company administrative projects that will arise and you would be expected to help out with or take responsibility for. Some of that will involve VAT / HMRC / Companies House reporting in the UK.
