We are looking for someone to develop WDH Asset Management System (AMS), PIMSS and associated processes to ensure changes to system changes and data requirements are in line with business plan principles, to present and make available performance related information to a business wide audience.

What you’ll be doing

In this role you will be responsible for the asset set up process for all new properties. You will maintain the integrity and structure of all WDH portfolio related data captured, managed within AMS and all associated software packages utilised by the Asset Management teams. You will review stock asset data to identify key positive and negative trends and interpret this information to ensure the application of best practise and optimum system utilisation.

You will also be responsible for creating operational reports from core systems to provide business intelligence of all Assets in line with core data requirements to ensure compliance of legal and statutory obligations. You will be responsible for ensuring a proactive approach to asset management which includes working with the Investment Planning Manager on the financial performance of lifecycles of WDH assets and components.

You will have knowledge of system development life cycles and an understanding of principles of project management. Validation, audit and maintenance of asset stock condition data, to inform and enable review and forecasting of major planned investment programmes.

What we’re looking for

  • qualification at Level 4 of the Regulated Qualifications Framework in an IT, property or construction related subject;
  • effective time management and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise to achieve realistic targets, costs and time deadlines;
  • effective leadership skills, using communication, negotiation and motivation;
  • good initiative, problem solving skills, self-motivated and able to work under pressure;
  • experience in computerised model development / IT product development;
  • excellent experience in data management and processing;
  • ability to interpret and analyse large volumes of data, using advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and database applications; and
  • flexible approach geared to the changing circumstances and demands of the role.
