Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Engineer to join our business as we continue to scale.

As an Asset Support Engineer, you will support ENODA customer requests by responding to, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to field devices. The role is responsible to maintain adequate response times to satisfy the internal and external SLA requirements. The role serves as a key liaison between internal teams and customers to ensure alignment with goals and objectives of ENODA and our customers.

You'll spend your time:

  1. Monitoring the customer support system for continuous availability and improvement
  2. Providing Level 1 remote technical assistance to end-users or their contractors via phone & email
  3. Guiding users through systematic troubleshooting steps and document solutions in knowledge based
  4. Diagnosing and resolving problems, including electrical hardware, controllers computing systems, communication systems and external interfaces
  5. Participating in rotational shift coverage as part of the L1 customer support system, and act as an escalation point when not on primary support rotation
  6. Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their technical needs, addressing their concerns promptly, and ensuring overall client satisfaction through quality support
  7. Documenting all client interactions in the support system
  8. Providing technical guidance and support to client engineering teams on design needs and their project planning
  9. Supporting subcontractors and field engineers to set up new ENODA equipment in customer substations and ensuring compatibility with existing systems and/or to install, configure, and upgrade components of ENODA products in the field
  10. Solving technical problems related to substation infrastructure within agreed timeframe, and ensuring compliance with safety, physical and cyber security, industry standards, customer process, and regulations
  11. Providing feedback to ENODA's operational team, design teams, suppliers, and vendors to improve the components for better in-field performance
  12. Ensure compliance with safety standards, physical security requirements, cybersecurity protocols, industry standards, customer processes and relevant regulations

The key experience we're looking for:

  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., Master's) preferred
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in engineering roles with a focus on substation and transformer or other power equipment, including design, installation, operation, or maintenance
  3. Strong technical expertise in distribution substation, including industry standards, regulations, and best practices
  4. Training customers, operators, and other personnel
  5. Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  6. A working knowledge of sensors, control systems and secure communication protocols, distribution substation topologies, equipment and faults in power systems, their signatures and protection methods

The following would be advantageous:

  1. Fluent in one or more European languages
  2. Relevant certification to enter electrical substations or certify high voltage electrical systems is a plus
  3. Experience or training in dockerised software systems and enterprise software
  4. Experience with distribution system planning, operation, or field services
