We put in the care and attention to ensuring each of our guests have a great experience and delicious food, but it all starts with having the right people in the right place with the right attitude.

That’s where you come in…

Job Description:

As an Asset Repair & Maintenance Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of keeping our restaurants and offices running smoothly. Your main focus will be managing the reactive and planned maintenance of our equipment and premises, ensuring they meet our high standards. But it’s more than that—you’ll also be a go-to person for hands-on repairs, solving a variety of practical problems from fixing plumbing issues to minor electrical work.

Your role will be essential in ensuring that our restaurants and workspaces are always in top shape, providing a safe and welcoming environment for our teams and guests. Whether it's mending a leaking tap, repairing a heating system, or putting the final touch on a fresh coat of paint, your skills will make a big difference.

As an Asset Repair & Maintenance Specialist, your role will involve a mix of hands-on repair work and strategic oversight.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Maintenance & Repairs: Perform minor plumbing, electrical, and appliance repairs, along with tasks like painting, tiling, and bricklaying. You'll ensure all equipment and facilities are well-maintained.
  2. Operations & Supervision: Oversee maintenance activities, ensuring they meet company standards and budgets. You’ll also recommend improvements to the maintenance program.
  3. Contractor & Compliance Management: Manage relationships with service contractors and ensure all work complies with legal and safety standards.
  4. Budgeting & Cost Control: Prepare and monitor budgets, aiming for cost efficiency while maintaining top-notch facilities.
  5. Inspections & Reporting: Conduct regular inspections, verify contractor work, and report any issues or deviations.
  6. Training & Development: Provide technical training to staff and, when applicable, guide and evaluate colleagues.
You will need:
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance roles, with a focus on building, equipment, or facilities upkeep.
  • A clear UK driving license.
  • Practical experience in hands-on repair work, including plumbing, electrical, and heating systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Experience in managing budgets and working with external service providers.
