HOURS: 37 per week

Join our team as the Asset and Facilities Governance Manager and become the essential link between Northern's strategic goals and on-the-ground operations. In this role, you will support the AMS Compliance Manager by collecting, verifying, and analysing critical asset data to enhance station operations across the network.

Your work will ensure that asset change control procedures, handovers, and audits align with our framework, directly influencing maintenance priorities and overall asset management strategies.

You will act as a trusted liaison between internal teams, external partners, and regulatory bodies, ensuring that every aspect of our asset registers is meticulously managed. Your contributions will drive efficiency, support proactive decision-making, and help foster a culture of continuous improvement across our stations.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Collect, verify, and analyse asset and facilities data to support maintenance and operational planning
  • Oversee asset change control processes, ensuring accurate handovers and pre-start project documentation
  • Conduct thorough onsite and desktop audits to maintain comprehensive and up-to-date asset registers
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure compliance with ISO:55001 and regulatory standards
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of performance dashboards and MI reports
  • Liaise with stakeholders to track service-level agreements, identify data discrepancies, and propose corrective actions
  • Support the creation and delivery of training materials to embed best practices in asset and facilities management
  • Assist in aligning property management expenditures with strategic objectives and operational needs

About You
  • Experience: Proven track record with asset change control processes and maintaining accurate data across multi-site portfolios, ideally within property or facilities management. Experience in conducting asset surveys, interpreting data for MI reporting, and using CAFM systems is essential.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of ISO:55001 standards, data analytics principles, and maintenance guidelines (e.g., SFG20). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and asset database management is required.
  • Qualifications & Training: Relevant certifications or training in data analytics and asset management, with a commitment to ongoing professional development. Familiarity with IWFM Level 4 and IAM qualifications (or willingness to work towards them) is a plus.
  • Skills & Competencies: Exceptional data collection, verification, and analytical skills; strong attention to detail in quality control processes; excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities; and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.

If you're passionate about transforming data into actionable insights and ensuring the highest standards in asset and facilities management, we'd love to hear from you. Apply now to join our dedicated team!
