Role Overview:
The Assessment Production Manager will be responsible for the production of LIBF’s Professional Education assessments, working with new technologies and agile principles to foster efficient assessment production. They will manage a team of Assessment Production Coordinators and work with subject matter experts to produce robust and effective assessments, ensuring that questions and learning materials are aligned and editing exams to ensure they meet the qualification specification and marking scheme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all stages of assessment production and empower team members to undertake the related processes
- Participate in the establishment of effective procedures, exploring methods to create and quality-assure assessments
- Build relationships with examiners and moderators (internal and external) to ensure they deliver effective assessment questions on time and to budget
- Problem solve when complexities arise to negotiate appropriate and effective solutions
- Prepare and maintain appropriate written guidance regarding exam format to enable subject matter experts to deliver
- Review and analyse the performance of assessments, including information related to question performance and student feedback, to make recommendations for improvement
- Review and edit assessments produced by subject matter experts to ensure they meet the requirements of the qualification specification and marking scheme
- Ensure that the requirements of the General Conditions of Recognition (GCR) are met by the team
- Support the withdrawal of qualifications and ensure assessments are managed effectively to enable students to complete within the required timeframes
- Ensure that all assessments are administered to a high standard, maintaining the quality and reputation of the LIBF

- Experience of working within an educational environment and collaborating with various stakeholders
