Assembly Technician

Are you a hands-on problem solver with a keen eye for detail? This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and enthusiastic Assembly Technician to join an innovative company driving advancements in engineering and manufacturing technology. This role requires someone with hands-on industrial experience looking to further develop their technical skills in a growing company.

Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician include:
  1. Prepare test specimens and assemble components for testing.
  2. Assist the Engineering Team with test execution, data acquisition, analysis and reporting.
  3. Follow established test and assembly procedures.
  4. Maintain and ensure the correct functioning of assembly tools and equipment.
  5. Identify opportunities for improving quality and efficiency.
  6. Package products for shipment to suppliers.
  7. Comply with all health and safety procedures.
  8. Undertake additional tasks as required to support business objectives.
What They're Looking For:
  1. Safety-conscious and diligent, with practical, hands-on experience in an industrial or workshop environment.
  2. High attention to detail in mechanical assembly tasks and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  3. Knowledge or experience with hydraulics, pressurised systems, composite materials, precision data acquisition devices, or 3D CAD software is desirable.
  4. A-levels (or equivalent) in Maths, Physics, or a related subject; graduates looking to gain hands-on industry experience will be considered.
