Because of continued demand of their offering at their Leeds facility, this employer is actively recruiting a Assembly Technician vacancy.

Their LEEDS based facility is based just a few minutes from the M62 and M1 motorways, meaning the successful Assembly Technician will easily be able to commute from surrounding towns & cities including Wakefield, Castleford, Pontefract, Bradford, Huddersfield, Halifax, Wetherby, Selby and Barnsley.

Key Responsibilities of the Assembly Technician will include:

  • Servicing and overhauling a variety of industrial tooling, including Gang Saw Blades and Grinding/Polishing Wheels and Rings
  • Operating a variety of manual/conventional machine tools including Lathes, Mills and Borers
  • Reading, interpreting and working directly from engineering drawings

Working Hours of the Assembly Technician:
37.5 Hours per week, spread across a day shift

  • Monday to Friday – 07:30 to 16:00

In return, the Assembly Technician will receive:

  • Annual Salary: Up to £29,000.00 per annum
  • Holiday Entitlement: 33 Days per annum including public holidays
  • Combined Pension up to 16%
  • 6% Company Life Assurance
