The Role

As an Assembly Operative - Sheet Metal, you will be responsible for a variety of processes, including fabricating and assembling seat pan chassis, conducting bench fitting and build of detailed assemblies, and performing heat treatment on components. Your attention to detail and manual dexterity will be crucial as you work with a range of aerospace fasteners, adhesives, and Velcro to produce high-quality seat backrest and sitting platform assemblies.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate for this Assembly Operative - Sheet Metal role will have experience in riveting techniques, the use of adhesives, and operating vertical milling machines. You should also be familiar with engineering drawings and have a strong understanding of self-inspection and quality check processes. A high degree of concentration and manual dexterity are essential for this position.
