Position: Assembly and Test Technician

Type: Permanent Staff

Location: High Wycombe

The Company

A leading global engineering company who specialise in the design, manufacturing and installation of machinery across a number of different industries.

The Role

This position will include the assembly and testing of the company’s machinery and sub-assemblies. The work will include the following:

  1. Correct assembly and testing of associated test load string and test fixtures and jigs.
  2. Fault diagnosis of units under test.
  3. Inspection and packing of customer orders in accordance with current procedures.
  4. Electronic testing and fault diagnosis to component level.
  5. Working from engineering, manufacturing and assembly drawings.

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you must have:

  1. An electro-mechanical / electronic wiring background.
  2. Strong soldering experience.
  3. Experience with electromechanical assemblies.
  4. Electronic testing and fault diagnosis to component level experience.
  5. Use of basic hand-held test equipment.
