Join Our Team as an Assembler / Machine Operator in Alton!

Location: Alton, GU34
Hourly Rate: £12.21 per hour + holiday allowance or £13.82 per hour (holiday pay included)
Annual Salary: Approx. £25,400 once permanent
Contract: Full-time, Temp-to-Perm
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities for Assembler:

1. Assemble plastic and rubber moulded parts with precision.
2. Perform mechanical assembly and sub-assembly tasks on complex systems.
3. Complete components with bonding, fastening, and ultrasonic welding techniques.
4. Prime, paint, and coat moulded parts to finish.
5. Conduct RFI/EMI shielding, component identification, and cleaning.
6. Perform mechanical, electrical, and NDT testing to ensure top-quality assembly.

Key Responsibilities for Machine Operator:

1. Operate injection moulding, CNC, and other production machines.
2. Load/unload materials and ensure proper machine operation.
3. Maintain and troubleshoot machines to ensure smooth production.

What We're Looking For:

1. Experience: Previous assembly or manual dexterity experience, ideally within a manufacturing or technical environment.
2. Hands-On Skills: Comfortable working with hand tools and small components.
3. Attention to Detail: A keen eye for detail to ensure accurate assembly and operation.
4. Team Player: Ability to collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
